The American Red Cross provides emergency assistance of food, shelter, and clothing to victims of house fires in LaPorte County. Through First Aid and CPR classes, individuals learn how to deal with emergencies at home and in the workplace. Youth in our community participate in swimming lessons, babysitting classes, and basic aid training. Chapter volunteers assist families of servicemen and women by providing a communication link in times of grief and in the joyful occasion of the birth of a baby. Bloodmobiles provide donors the opportunity to give the "Gift of Life". The Chapter is located in the Lake-Hills Fire Station just off Lake Street at the intersection of Washington Park and Warren Road.
