Thirteen members, with Mayoral appointments appointed to two-year terms and City Council appointments appointed one-year terms. Salary: $50/month Meetings: 12:00PM - Second Wednesday of the month in Mayors Conference Room.
Mission The mission of the Michigan City Commission on the Social Status of African American Males is to identify and recommend public remedies to increase, broaden and improve the economic, educational, social and professional status of the African American male locally, statewide, and nationally. |
