Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Applications
The Michigan City Housing Authority (MCHA) Section 8 waiting list is now closed.

If you are interested in applying for housing, please read the Section 8 Pre-application Guide before you begin.

Persons with disabilities who require a reasonable accommodation in completing an application may call the Michigan City Housing Authority to make special arrangements to complete their application. A Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD) is available for the deaf. The TDD telephone number is (219) 873-2345. Language translation is available for persons with limited English proficiency (LEP) who wish to apply to apply online. Applicants will be considered by local preference first which means that you must be a Michigan City resident. Applicants will be placed on the list by time and date the application is received.

The Public Housing Waiting List is still closed until further notice.
