Michigan City Department of Water Works is pleased to offer customers two quick and easy ways to make Utility account bill payments by credit card (VISA, MasterCard and Discover), debit card and e-Check. Paymentus Corporation is a third party automated payment service that accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and e-Check.
You can pay your bill anytime, 24 hours a day 7 days a week
Paymentus will charge a $2.50 convenience fee
for each transaction up to $100
Multiple transactions may be made
Warning: If incorrect bank information is entered the Utility will not receive your payment. This will result in a charge to your account and you may also incur late fees.
1. By web payment: Click on the Pay Your Bill button and you will be transferred
to a secure web page powered by our bill payment partner, Paymentus.
- You will enter the payment information including the account number, credit card details and payment amount.
- You will also be asked to confirm to pay a convenience fee.
- Once all the information is entered, click on "Make Payment."
- You will be provided with a confirmation number if the transaction is successful
2. By telephone payment: Dial 1-855-288-7907 and you will be linked to a secure
automated telephone payment system, powered by our bill payment partner,
Paymentus.
- You will enter the payment information including the account number, credit card details and payment amount.
- You will be prompted to confirm that you have agreed to pay a convenience fee.
- Then you will be provided with a confirmation number if the transaction is successful.
What do I need to use this Service?
- Your Michigan City Department of Water Works account number located at the top of your bill
- The balance owed on your bill
- Your credit card or check routing information
- Valid E-mail address for confirmation receipt (Online Payment Only)
