The Michigan City Municipal Golf Course features two beautiful 18-hole courses set in a tranquil wooded setting. Recognized as one of the premier public courses for lovers of golf in Indiana, the Michigan City Golf Course offers a challenging day of play for every age and skill level.
Memberships are not required to play our public courses or use our facilities (applicable fees do apply). The Michigan City Municipal Golf Course features a practice green, golf practice area, fully-stocked pro shop, snack shop & bar (beer and wine) and trained golf professionals ready to make your day on the course fun and enjoyable. And unlike other courses, we permit walking or riding. Our carts are clean and comfortable!
Our North Course features executive-style golfing, including 3,531 total yards and a challenging par of 60. Featuring an exciting mixture of both par three and par four holes, this course is perfect for the beginner with fewer complex distractions. Yet, the north course also offers several golfing challenges such as hills, dog-legs, short holes, sand traps and water hazards.
The South Course features a challenging 18-hole course, featuring a par of 72. Playing to a total of 6,169 yards, the South Course is a favorite to all golfers, from the newcomer to the seasoned player alike. On the South course, you’ll find a mixture of exciting golf challenges such as hills, short holes and long holes, dog legs, sand traps and water hazards.
