The Human Rights Commission is responsible for protection of the human rights of individuals living, working and visiting the City of Michigan City. The Commission consists of twelve (12) members appointed to four-year terms by the Mayor, with advice and consent of the City Council. The Human Rights Commission meets regularly at 4:30 PM on the first Tuesday of the month in the Mayor’s West Conference Room at City Hall. Commission meetings are open to the public.
