[ARCHIVED] Franklin & 7th Streets Ice Skating Rink

The Michigan City winter ice skating rink located at the corner of Franklin and 7th Streets is scheduled for snow removal, liner installation, and to be filled with water during the week beginning Monday, January 8th by the Parks & Recreation Maintenance Crew. Once the rink is ready for use, hours will be dependent upon the cooperation of freezing temperatures.

Location: Corner of Franklin & 7th Streets

Size: 60’ x 90’rink

Amenities: Garbage cans, porta-potty, 2 benches

Conditions of the rinks are updated on the website and through the Ice Skating Hotline at (219) 873-1406 x369 by the maintenance department Monday through Friday only. On the weekends it is up to discretion of the skater as to whether or not the conditions are optimal for skating.
